The Fillis is the classic stirrup model: a closed arch in stainless steel with a flat tread and a rubber pad you can replace. There is no joint, no shock-absorbing element and no safety mechanism. So you get the classic stirrup feel, with a tread that is not made extra wide. Material and finish. The stirrups are made of stainless steel, so they do not rust and stay clean with water. You choose between a silver and a rose gold finish. The rose gold version stands out more in the arena; the silver stays neutral and goes with any bridle and any saddle. In both cases there is a black rubber pad in the tread. The rubber pad. That pad gives grip under your boot sole and it is interchangeable. That is handier than it sounds: the pad wears out fastest of the whole stirrup, and instead of buying new stirrups you simply swap the rubber.
