The dietary supplement Optimized Folate from Life Extension provides a bioavailable and metabolically active form of folic acid (vitamin B9). The product contributes to the normal functioning of the body, supports the normal metabolism of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, as well as the healthy development of the fetus during pregnancy. Thanks to the active form L-methylfolate (5-MTHF), the supplement is absorbed directly by the body without requiring additional metabolic transformation. It supports the cardiovascular system and cognitive health by helping to maintain healthy homocysteine levels in the blood.
