Menagerie | Sharon Montrose

Descriere si caracteristici

Renowned photographer Sharon Montrose reveals a masterful collection of images that will change the way we view our favorite animals. Following the conventions of human portraiture, 'Menagerie' features photographs from Sharon's popular 'Animal Series', which have been purchased by the thousands through her own ecommerce site and displayed in homes across the country. Sharon's artful presentation gives each animal a pronounced identity-not unlike the eccentric uncle or prodigal cousin displayed among family portraits-and she groups her photographs in unique, playful chapters, including: Babies, Pouched, Forest, Farm, Hoofstock, Birds, Primates, Cats, and Reptiles. Sharon further enhances the indelible personalities of her subjects by incorporating beautiful hand-lettered text by illustrator Julianna Swaney. Animal lovers and design enthusiasts alike will go wild for Sharon's best photography book yet.
