Kentucky Turnout Paardendeken All Weather Waterdicht Pro Blauw - 0g

Descriere si caracteristici

The Kentucky Turnout All Weather Waterdicht Pro is a strong turnout rug with a 1680 denier polyester outer fabric, a 10,000 mm hydrostatic head and an artificial rabbit fur lining. It is intended for horses that go out in the field every day, from the transitional seasons into winter. You choose the fill that suits the weather: 0 g, 160 g or 300 g. About this turnout rug The Pro is the most heavily built model of the Kentucky All Weather rugs at Maddelin. The outer fabric is 1680 denier polyester with a canvas look. The denier figure refers to the thickness of the yarns: the higher it is, the stronger the fabric. Kentucky describes it as very strong, hard-wearing and dirt-repellent, which matters for horses that put their rug through its paces in the field. A PU coating makes the fabric waterproof, with a hydrostatic head of 10,000 mm to ISO standard. The hydrostatic head shows how much water pressure the fabric withstands before water gets through: the higher it is, the better it copes with prolonged rain. The rug has no spine seam, so there is no seam along the back where water could get in. Kentucky also describes the fabric as breathable. Inside is the artificial rabbit fur that is characteristic of Kentucky. This lining is soft, intended to prevent rubbing and adds a little extra insulation. According to Kentucky it also helps the rug slide back into place after rolling. The cut is anatomical. The 160 g and 300 g versions have a PES fibrefill, a polyester fill that keeps warmth in with several layers of air while remaining breathable. The 0 g version has no fill. At the front you close it with Velcro and 2 front closures, under the belly there are 2 cross surcingles made of strong seatbelt webbing, and at the back a detachable elastic tail cord with a plastic sleeve that is easy to clean.
