Explore the birthplace of drifting and immerse yourself in the iconic car culture of Japan! JDM: Japanese Drift Master is a tribute to Japan, Japanese street racing culture, and drifting. It is an open-world adventure driven by story, combining the switchbacks of Tōge (mountain roads) with narrow rural roads and extensive highways leading to a modern urban landscape. With licensed cars and solid tuning options, this is a drifter’s dream come true! <u>At launch, the game supports only Logitech and Thrustmaster steering wheels.</u> Control Modes Designed primarily for gamepads, JDM offers two control modes to choose from: Arcade, suitable for a more relaxed experience and drifting beginners; and Simcade, where all assists are disabled, trading full control over the car for higher skill requirements in drift handling. Players can switch between the two modes at any time during gameplay. Open World Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Japan with the fictional Guntama prefecture, created by blending real locations from across the country. With over 250 km of visually stunning main roads, standalone racing tracks, and events set among winding mountain passes, rural areas, and bustling city streets, you will explore diverse landscapes with traffic, dynamic weather, and day-night cycle systems. Licensed Cars Take the wheel of legendary cars from Nissan, Honda, Subaru, and Mazda. Tune them mechanically with new parts and then fine-tune the details. Experiment with visual parts: from hubcaps, through lights, to full body kit replacements. Adjust suspension, wheel camber angles, gear ratios, and more. Finally, paint the car however you wish, using a free color palette for selection. Want underglow lighting? That’s available too. Story-Driven Campaign Step into the shoes of a foreigner determined to make their mark on the Japanese drift scene. Compete in over 40 story-driven events and additional side missions against the best drifters in the area. Experience this journey through hand-drawn manga pages that add a unique and artistic touch to the game. Car Purring Experience authentic car sounds recorded through original captures and brought to life with attention to detail, making you feel as if you are truly behind the wheel. Travel scenic roads while listening to radio stations thematically linked to the genre, including unique soundscapes from J-music, Phonk, and even Eurobeat – choose the perfect soundtrack for your drive!
