The unique developments in the filter combine several actions / purification stages in one filter: <ul><li>Activated carbon from coconut shells - removes chlorine and chlorine compounds, organic impurities, petroleum products, medications, pesticides, and others. It eliminates unpleasant odors and tastes. The activated carbon in the filter is in a compressed dense form, which allows mechanical filtration of sand, silt, rust, sediment, microplastics, pollen, and others up to 3 microns in size;</li><li>Ion-exchange selective fiber Aqualen - a unique development by Aquaphor that irreversibly removes heavy metals from water. By using Aqualen, we guarantee excellent removal of heavy metals regardless of how hard your water is (i.e., its capacity is not depleted by increased hardness salts). Moreover, due to the specific properties of the technology, Aqualen always retains the heaviest (and thus the most dangerous to the body) metal from the water;</li><li>Active silver in ionic form - active silver prevents the development of microbiological contamination in the filter, thereby extending the filter's lifespan.</li></ul> The K2 filter preserves the mineral background and does not soften the water.
