Dracula | Bram Stoker, Nicky Raven

Descriere si caracteristici

Bram Stoker’s masterpiece is adapted here with all the sinister intrigue of the original, but suitable for a younger audience. Solicitor Jonathan Harker travels to Dracula’s Transylvanian castle, only to find himself held captive. After a narrow escape, Harker and Professor Van Helsing must track down and kill the vampire. Illuminated in all its gothic majesty by Anne Yvonne Gilbert’s artwork, this is Dracula at its vivid best. Dracula received a special award at the 2010 Best Children's Illustrated Book Awards, and is also included in The White Ravens 2010, the annual selection of outstanding international books for children and young adults presented at the Bologna Children's Book Fair. 'Suitably adapted for a younger audience, Nicky Raven’s version has lost none of its intensity. Illustrator Yvonne Gilbert’s dark, almost claustrophobic etchings augment the powerful drama in this beautifully designed volume.' Hatchard’s Christmas Catalogue 2009
